Sky's Cross Canada Blog

Various events are being organized in support of Sky’s cross Canada ride and the Children’s Wish Foundation.  The first one will take place on Wednesday, June 4th at 5:00pm at Ceili’s on 8th Avenue in Calgary.   Tickets are $10 each and include a free beer as well as admission to the event.  The venue is ours for a night of live music, good food, great company and a silent auction.  Please contact Sky for tickets. 

The next event is a fundraising BBQ on Sunday, June 22nd at the Talisman Centre in Calgary.  The BBQ is from 1:00-4:00pm.  There will be music provided by X92.9 and exciting spin challenges brought to you by Ridley’s Cycle and the Talisman Centre.   Entertainment for the kids will also be provided.  Be sure to come out to support the Children’s Wish Foundation and Access Advantage.  Access Advantage is a Talisman Centre fundraising initiative that focuses on reducing the barriers to participation for children, youth and families in the following 4 areas: Transportation & Equipment, Youth at Risk, Athletes in Need, and Admission passes for community groups.

On Saturday, June 28, Pharmasave on 7th Street in Medicine Hat will be hosting a fundraising BBQ as Sky rides through Medicine Hat.  There will be great food and entertainment so be sure to come out!
