Friday, July 25 – Richmond Hill, Ontario
On Friday at 7:00pm we will be having a great night out at Fox and Fiddle, a restaurant in East Beaver Creek in Richmond Hill. The event will include tasty food, entertainment, a silent auction, 50/50 draw, great prizes and of course, good company. All proceeds from the event go to the Children’s Wish Foundation and Sky’s Ride. For more information contact Frances at 905-737-7651. Hope to see you there!
Wednesday, June 18 – Group ride in Revelstoke
At 6:00pm there is a group ride in starting in Revelstoke to involved local cyclists. We will be heading out to the airport and back.
Thursday, June 19 – Mountainview Elementary School, Revelstoke
The students at Mountainview have raised money in support of the Children’s Wish Foundation. There will be an assembly at 9:00am for them to present the cheque and for me to chat with them about the ride and following dreams. Following the assembly, we will all get on our bikes and do some laps around Revelstoke.

Sunday, June 22 - Group ride from Canmore to Calgary
What a great way for local cycling enthusiasts to get involved in this leg of Sky’s ride. There will be a group ride leaving the Sobey’s in Canmore on Sunday, June 22, at 9:00am. We will be meeting between 8:00am and 8:30 for some juice and snacks provided by Sobey’s. Everyone will cycle to the Talisman Centre for a tasty BBQ with great music and a silent auction in support of the Children’s Wish Foundation. For those of you who aren’t feeling the 100km bike ride, feel free to head over to the Talisman Centre for the BBQ that will kick off at 1:00pm.
Saturday, June 28 – BBQ at Pharmasave in Medicine Hat
As Sky rides across Canada, she will be passing through Medicine Hat on the last week-end of June. Pharmasave #303, located at 407 – 7th Street SW will be hosting a fundraiser BBQ on Saturday June 28. This event will include great food, fun door prizes, music and a silent auction in support of the Children’s Wish Foundation. The BBQ will kick off at 11:00am and run until 2:00pm. Be sure not to miss out on an afternoon of fun in the sun!

Great work Sky, you did it! It was a pleasure meeting you in Powassan. Our daughter Jessica still talks about getting her picture taken on your bike. Jessica was granted her wish to go to Walt Disney in June 2005. It is because of people like you that these wishes come true for these children.
